US Formula 1 Powerboat Tour is North America’s Series for Formula 1 powerboats, Tunnel Boats racings premier class. The Formula One outboard, for nearly five decades, has been recognized as the world’s most spectacular racing powerboat. With lightning speed and nimble handling, the Formula One boats and their world-class drivers thrill audiences with deck-to-deck, sponson-banging competition. Formula One boats are powered by 400 horsepower Mercury and Johnson motors and are capable of accelerating 0-100 mph in less than 3.5 seconds with top speeds exceeding 135 mph.

The Tour will hold a five race season in 2013 which includes three new race sites beginning with the season opener at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.
