This Week's Event at Florence Speedway

(Union, KY – September 13, 2018)   We are back to racing this Saturday at Florence Speedway as we proudly present the Race To Recovery Fan Appreciation Night with Renew Ministries. Our area has been recently clouded by the sadness of addiction and the overwhelming danger to our families.  This epidemic knows no boundaries of race or economic status.  We all have been touched by this in some way.  Florence Speedway is honored to stand with them to raise awareness and offer some help and hope to those needing it.  Please bring your families and stand with us as we raise awareness for the possibility of recovery and love. Renew Ministries, the proud sponsor of this event, is asking for your help. They are asking everyone to bring canned goods to donate to their cause and help restock their pantry. These goods will go to feeding those who need help the most as we enter the Winter months.

Not only are we all helping a good cause, we got to do it on one of our most popular nights of the year! On this night we give some back to the fans who make this all possible. We offer a complete racing program for only $10 and as the highlight of the evening, at intermission, we bring the cars and drivers to the infield then let the fans come down as well. They can meet their favorite drivers, get autographs, and see the cars up close. The drivers get in on the action as well with many having autograph cards made specially for the event and also have other things to give away. Because of the extra activities, we do start 30 minutes earlier than normal with hot laps starting at 5:30 and racing at 6:30. It really is an event you don't want to miss! On the racing side of things, we will have complete programs for our Late Model, Slicker Graphics Modified, Phoenix Comfort Systems Crate, G&G Express Sport Mod, and Hornet divisions! Also, we will have the make up Feature for the Phoenix Comfort Systems Crates from August 25th.
