Sweeney RUSH Late Model Series to Debut Traveling "MFG Night" Presented by MSD July 29th at Winchester.

(Pulaski, PA July 19, 2017)...The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series powered by Pace Performance is excited to launch a new program to its growing contingency product giveaways.  The traveling "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance will debut on Saturday, July 29 at Virginia's Winchester Speedway.  This night of course will be in addition to the annual "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD, which will be held at Tri-City Raceway Park on Sunday, August 20.

Currently over $13,000 in actual product has been posted for Winchester on July 29 (see list below).  Only drivers in the top 15 in "track" points (not RUSH member points) through the weekend ending July 23 at Winchester, Potomac and Delaware International Speedways that are competing and legal at Winchester on July 29 will be eligible for the prizes.  The event is part of the "Battle of the Bay" Series with Delaware (July 27), Potomac (July 28), and then Winchester.

"As RUSH continues to grow we realize that it's tough for many of our racers on the outer lying areas to get to our annual Manufacturers Night," stated RUSH Director Vicki Emig.  "The event has moved  around over the years, and we try to schedule it at a location and date when as many racers as possible can attend, but we know there are many that cannot; thus the traveling Manufacturers Night.  This will also become an annual event and will be a great way to reach out to these sanctioned speedways and their racers to show that we greatly appreciate their support."

"The Mid-Atlantic region has really grown over the past few years," continued Emig.  "Winchester and Potomac are in their fourth year under the RUSH banner and with the addition of Delaware plus Georgetown's races, this has really spurred the growth. With this being a Battle of the Bay event, Delaware will not be racing and their eligible racers will be able to participate in this night."

"We have to thank all of our great marketing partners that have continued to support our efforts over the years and who have made this second night possible for our Late Models along with the other four Manufacturers Night events for our other divisions on both dirt and asphalt," added Emig.  "Overall RUSH Late Model competitors will now have an opportunity to share in over $50,000 in actual useful product giveaways via these two exciting events.  The most important thing I can ask our racers is that they in turn support these sponsors by utilizing their quality products in their racing operations."
