Season Championships this Saturday at Florence Speedway!

(Union, KY – October 3, 2017)    It's Season Championship week here at Florence Speedway, and the points battles are some of the closest we've ever seen! Four of the Five divisions have less than 35 points separating first and second, and some are even closer than that. In our Late Model division, Trevor Landrum has a 32 point lead over Jessie Lay and Robby Hensley, who are tied for second. In our Slicker Graphics Modified division, Ryan Morton not only just has a 20 point lead over Shawn Brown, but only 54 points separates first and fifth! In the Crates, Billy Green holds a slim nine point lead over Jeff Alsip and only a 13 point lead to third, and 47 points to fourth. And while Mike Ackman has a commanding 154 point lead in the Phoenix Comfort Systems Pure Stock points, in the Hornets, Billy Gibson Jr. is only 23 points ahead of Brandon Stephens. With Season Championship night being double points all night, it makes the points battles even tighter! On the track, everyone will be racing for extra money this week as the Late Model feature will be $2,000 to win, the Slicker Graphics Modifieds $800 to win, Crates $600 to win, the Phoenix Comfort Systems Pure Stocks $400 to win, and the Hornets $250 to win. So come out this Saturday and help us crown our 2017 Season Champions!
