Rod Conley Readies for Jim Dunn Memorial on Heels of Outlaw Invasion at Atomic

(WHEELERSBURG, OH – October 4, 2018)  Rod Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, traveled up the road to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on September 28-29 for the 'Outlaw Invasion' weekend, which featured a pair of high-profile World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series shootouts.  On Friday night in the $8,000 to win weekend opener, Rod placed eighth in his loaded heat race and sixth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 40-lap headliner.  At Atomic on Saturday evening in the $10,000 to win finale, Rod ran fifth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later wound up nineteenth in the final finishing order of the 50-lapper.  Complete results from both 'Outlaw Invasion' programs can be accessed online by going to  www.woolms.com

Rod and his #71r team will now turn their focus to Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio on Saturday evening, October 6 for the 36th Annual 'Jim Dunn Memorial.'  The single-day special will boast a $10,000 winner's check, while each of the 60-lap feature starters will receive at least $500 for their efforts.  Delmas Conley, the patriarch of the racing Conley clan, will also be in racing action on Saturday, as he will take his #71 team to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for the track's Season Championship night, which will feature a $2,000 payday for the Super Late Models.  Additional information on these races can be viewed by accessing www.atomicspeedway.net and the Midway Speedway Facebook page.
