NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series Set to Take on Oglethorpe Speedway Park Friday September 8th

(Pooler, GA – September 5, 2017)   The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series is set to take on one of Georgia’s longest running race tracks on Friday night September 8th as the stars and cars head to Oglethorpe Speedway Park located just outside of Savannah in Pooler, GA. The Friday night event will pay $2,000 to the winner at one of the oldest running tracks in the Peach state.

The NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series will return to OSP after making an earlier appearance in 2017 for a RockAuto.com Winter Shootout Series Weekend where Stapleton, GA driver Travis Pennington picked up the feature win on both Friday and Saturday night. The series will bring many of the top competitors to the track for the September 8th event with expected entrants such as: 2016 NeSmith DLMS National Champion and Current point leader Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, TN; Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year Point Leader Grant Garrison of Kentucky; Texas teenager Colton Horner; Rome, GA drivers TJ Brittain and Jake Knowles; TN’s Matt Henderson; and two talented young ladies with Ahnna Parkhurst and local hot shoe Jordan Feider. These drivers as well as the strong local contingent which includes Shane Riner; Robert Diekemper; Jordan Feider; and many more. As always, there will be others that drop in to take part of the action on Friday night.
