NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 8 Round Up

(Cartersville, GA - May 15, 2017)    Week 8 of the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series is now officially in the books and Meridian, MS's Tim Dees still hangs on to the points lead with "The General" Shannon Lee moving into the second spot. Lee is no stranger to the top of the leaderboard, and as the weeks countdown there will be many movers and shakers coming and going inside the top 20.

Headlines from Week 8:

• Zack Graham picked up the feature win on Saturday night at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL.
• Camden Motor Speedway's NeSmith Late Model winner was Adam Ray.
• Adam Gauldin picked up another feature win at Talladega Short Track on Saturday night.
• 2013 NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National Champion Noah Daspit jumped into two-time and defending Weekly National Champion Michael Arnold's #4 machine and picked up the win on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway.
• Josh Leonard had a strong Week 8 as he picked up wins at two Nebraska tracks - Junction Motor Speedway on Saturday night and then grabbed the first ever NeSmith late Model win at Lexington Raceway. These drivers will be the ones to watch as their season is just truly getting started.
• Eddie Joe Morris was the Friday night feature winner in NeSmith Late Model action at Oglethorpe Speedway Park.
• North Alabama Speedway's Saturday night feature win went to Seth McCormack in his #S4 machine.
• 2016 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock National Champion Spencer Hughes was once again in Magnolia Motor Speedway victory lane on Saturday night.
