NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 12 Round Up
(Cartersville, GA – June 13, 2017) The "Mississippi Hustler" Hunter Carroll holds on to the top points position in the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National point standings after Week 12 competition. The Columbus, MS driver leads Louisiana competitor Kody Barber as the midway point to the 2017 season is quickly approaching. The 27-week season will begin to take shape and contender will start to move through the rank as the 14 week mark approaches and competitors count just their 14 best finishes towards the season ending points total.

- Caleb Gay captured the checkered flag at Cochran Motor Speedway during their Saturday night racing action.
- Mike Combs visited Talladega Short Track's winner's circle for his first NeSmith Weekly Racing Series win of the 2017 season.
- Ronnie Cooper took the checkered flag in Friday night action at the recently reopened Clayhill Speedway in Atwood, TN.
- Hattiesburg Speedway's Friday night feature win in the NeSmith Late Models went to Flomaton, AL driver Josh Huss.
- 2016 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock National Champion Spencer Hughes continued to impress with another feature win at Whynot Motorsports Park on Saturday night.
- Duke Palasini tamed the gumbo clay surface at his home track Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS to claim the Saturday night feature win.
- Jeremy Shaw parked the #1s machine in victory lane on Friday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.
- ECM Speedway's Saturday night feature win went to local favorite Greg Wilhite.
- Josh Leonard continues his strong performances with another Saturday night victory at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE.
- Former NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National Champion Noah Daspit piloted two time and defending Weekly Racing Series National Champion Michael Arnold's #4 machine to the win at LA 36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA.
- "Alabama's Action Track" - North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL's Saturday night NeSmith Late Model Winner was Seth McCormack in his #s4.
- "Big Nasty" Bobby Jordan picked up a big Saturday night victory at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, MS.
