NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 10 Round Up

(Cartersville, GA – May 31, 2017)   Week 10 of the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series season took place over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, and after the dust settled it was Hunter Carroll who has moved back into the points lead. Carroll used his lone event over the weekend, a Friday night win at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS to reclaim the lead heading into Week 11 competition.

Headlines from Week 10:

• Shane Riner made the Sunday night stop at Cochran Motor Speedway to pick up the win in the NeSmith Late Models.
• Shep Lucas made the stop on Monday night at Flomaton Speedway for NeSmith Panhandle Challenge Series action make-up from Week 9 where his picked up the victory.
• ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL held special Sunday night event where Greg Wilhite claimed the checkered flag enroute to victory lane.
• Adam Gauldin picked up his 5th win in 6 starts at his home track Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. Gauldin will also have an opportunity to make up a Week 5 rain out during Thursday night action at TST.
• Josh Leonard picked up the win at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE on Saturday night.
• Delbert Smith drove his Trak-Star Edge to victory lane at 81 Speedway during NCRA Competition on Saturday night.
• "The General" Shannon Lee grabbed the win on Saturday night at LA 36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA.
• Steve Russell tamed "The Action Track" North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL on Saturday night picking up the NeSmith Late Model victory.
