Locomotion Racing

Attending the "local" 2 day bracket racing event at Orlando Speed World on June 15 & 16 turned out to be a good decision for the Locomotion Racing team. Aside from getting some always useful practice, Saturdays race resulted in a Pro ET class win after 6 round of competition that lasted well into the next morning due to a variety of delays. There were about 35 cars in the Pro class, quite a few more in Super Pro and assorted numbers in Street, the motorcycle classes as well as the Jr. Dragster classes.

Sunday had less cars in all the classes due to the heat and chances of rain, but things started out well with a first round win for Piatek. Unfortunately, the eventual winner was "Mother Nature" as periodic showers prevented the race from progressing. The purse was split among the remaining entries.
