"Hot Rod" Conley Visits Victory Lane for First Time in 2018 at Atomic Speedway!

(WHEELERSBURG, OH – May 2, 2018)    Rod Conley and Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) visited victory lane for the first time in the young 2018 racing season on Saturday evening, April 28 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio!  Rod knocked down the fastest lap overall during the Super Late Model qualifying session before scoring the victory in heat race action.  "Hot Rod" then led early in the weekly main event before taking advantage of a Tyler Carpenter flat tire to regain the top spot.  The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace then went on to beat Ryan Markham, Mark Frazier, Matt Irey, and Kevin Wagner to the checkered flag to bag the $2,000 winner's check!  Complete results from the former K-C Raceway can be located online at www.atomicspeedway.net.

Brothers Rod and R.J. Conley are both scheduled to be in competition over the upcoming May 4-5 weekend in the states of Ohio and Kentucky.  Rod's #71r team will head to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night and back to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening for a pair of $2,000 to win battles.  R.J., on the other hand, is slated to invade the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky for the 32nd Annual 'Ralph Latham Memorial.'  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will once again preside over the special at the Cincinnati-area speedplant and a $12,000 top prize will be on the line.  More information concerning all of these races can be accessed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.
