Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday at Florence Speedway!

(Union, KY – September 27, 2017)   We are back in action this weekend, as L&M Performance presents Dollar Days here at Florence Speedway! It's a big night here at the speedway as, in addition to the Dollar Days specials, we will be making up the $1,000 to win Crate special event from earlier this season, and hosting the return of the Ohio Valley Roofers Legend cars. Dollar Days are always a special night here for the fans as we have $1 drink and food specials at the concessions throughout the night and the always popular $1 beers at the beer stands! But Larry and Michelle Pickelheimer of L&M Performance are stepping it up a notch this time with specials for the racers as well. On top of our normal feature purses, L&M Performance will be adding bonus money to all of the feature winners. For the Late Model feature winner, they will be presenting a $650 gift certificate to L&M Performance. The other division feature winners will receive certificates as well with the Slicker Graphics Modified winner receiving a $350 certificate, a $200 certificate for the Crate feature winner, a $150 certificate for the Phoenix Comfort Systems Pure Stock feature winner, a $100 certificate for the Hornet feature winner, and a $100 certificate for the Legend Feature winner. So you can see, this is shaping up to be a special night for everyone!

Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge

We at Florence Speedway are excited to announce that the Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race challenge is returning for the 2017 season. We and Sunoco Race Fuels have teamed up for a program to reward drivers who race here weekly. The Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge will reward drivers who run well in their heat races and run Sunoco Race Fuel products. The twist to this program is that where, in most cases, drivers in different divisions can not compete against each other, in the Sunoco Race Fuels Heat Race Challenge, the eligible drivers will be competing head to head! That's right, the Late Models, Modifieds, Crates and Phoenix Comfort Systems Pure Stocks are all competing for the same prize. At the end of the season, the top point earner will gain a $500 prize from Sunoco, and everyone in the top 10 will receive cash awards. For more details check out the program info page on our website.At the track, we currently offer Sunoco HCR+ 114 Octane, Supreme 112 Octane, 260 GT Plus 104 Octane Unleaded Crate Fuel, and Methanol for sale by the gallon. We also have access to drums of each of the above and all of Sunoco's fuels. If anyone is interested in purchasing a drum, just ask at our fuel sales area. Purchase of any of the above qualifies you for the Sunoco Heat Race challenge bonuses.The Sunoco Heat Race challenge begins on April 1st.
