Desoto Speedway August 6th Racing: BG Products Southern Sprint Cars by TRUFUEL to Honor Larry Brazil

(Bradenton, FL – August 5, 2016) August 6th the BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series by TRUFUEL OUTLAW SPRINT CARS will honor one of its own, former champion Larry Brazil as we invade high banks of Desoto Speedway in Bradenton Florida.

This event will be stop #11 of the season for the BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series by TRUFUEL . Expect the best of the best with lightning fast speeds as the will bolt the wings on and produce unbelievable speeds. Come see the best drivers in the state tackle Desoto Speedway on the ragged edge producing side by side action packed racing.

Dave Steele of Tampa Florida, returned to action after his 2nd place finish at the Lil 500 at Anderson Speedway in Indiana and was the winner of the NON wing show at Showtime Speedway. Sport Allen of Pinellas Park, Florida will be on hand looking to expand his points lead after winning back to back features the last time the series bolted on the wings. Allen, still holds a comfortable 30 point in the drivers standings in The BG Products Southern Sprint Cars by TRUFUEL standings. Rounding out the top 5 in points are Dave Steele, Clayton “The Mulberry Missile” Donaldson, Mickey Kempgens and Carlie Yent.

Clayton “The Mulberry Missile” Donaldson currently sits atop the Steele Performance Rookie of the Year standing and will be looking for his first win with the BG Products Southern Sprint Car by TRUFUEL Series, other Rookie contenders sure to be on hand will be UF student Carlie Yent, The oldest Rookie of the year 71 years young Gary Wiggins, Justin Appleby and John Inman.

Pits open at 1:30pm, Front Gates at 4:30pm with Racing at 7pm.
