Delmas and R.J. Conley Both Reach Victory Lane for $2,000 Wins at Area Tracks!

(WHEELERSBURG, OH – August 8, 2019) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) teams were very busy in the states of Ohio and West Virginia over the August 2-3 weekend, but the hectic couple of days led to a pair of $2,000 feature victories for both Delmas and R.J. Conley! Delmas won his heat race in preliminary action at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday prior to taking advantage of leader Steve Casebolt's misfortune to lead the final seven laps of the weekly main event. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer picked up the $2,000 payday for his second victory of the 2019 season over Mark Frazier, Clint Keenan, Lee Logan, and Ralph Withem!

R.J. Conley shrugged off a disappointing sixteenth place finish on Friday at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio to land his third triumph of 2019 on Saturday evening at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! R.J. swept the weekly Super Late Model program at PRP by setting Fast Time in qualifying, winning the heat race, and leading each and every lap of the headliner to bag the $2,000 top prize over Shannon Thornsberry, Kenny Christy, Audie Swartz, and his son J.T. Conley. J.T. had finished fourth in the heat race prior to claiming the top five finish, which marked his best run so far during the 2019 campaign!

Rod Conley competed in a pair of Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series specials over the weekend at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex and Princeton Speedway in Princeton, West Virginia. On Friday in a $3,000 to win battle at Brushcreek, Rod knocked down the second quickest time overall during qualifying, placed fifth in the fast dash, and later advanced up to third in the feature to trail only victor Tyler Carpenter and runner-up Jackie Boggs. At Princeton on Saturday night in a $5,000 to win throwdown, the Wheelersburg, Ohio ace placed seventh in the final finishing order of the 'West Virginia Dirt Cup.' With each of the four CMI drivers scheduled to take the upcoming August 9-10 weekend off from racing action, preparations will start being made for a pair of unsanctioned special events at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on August 16-17. Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley are all slated to invade Moler next Friday for the 13th Annual 'Ike Moler Memorial,' which boasts a $5,000 paycheck. Delmas Conley will then join his sons and grandson on Saturday at PRP for the 25th Annual 'Fred Dillow Memorial.' The final version of the storied race will pay $6,083 to win for the Super Late Models and will also boast a myriad of additional bonuses.
