Delmas Conley Secures Feature Win #556 at PRP

(WHEELERSBURG, OH – June 29, 2017)  Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley emerged victorious on Saturday night, June 24 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio to notch his 556th career feature win!  Delmas won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the weekly 25-lap main event from the pole position.  The Wheelersburg, Ohio patriarch then took the lead for good on the ninth circuit and led the remainder of the feature distance to pocket the $2,000 winner's share over Kenny Christy, Freddy Carpenter, Josh Bocook, and Shannon Thornsberry!

His son Rod Conley was also in action at PRP over the weekend, as he placed fifth in his heat race and seventh in the A-Main.  Full results from Saturday at Portsmouth Raceway Park can be located online at http://www.portsraceway.com.

Next up for Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley will be the annual running of the 'Independence 60' back at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 1.  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series biggie on the banks of the Ohio River will pay $12,000 to the victor.  Brothers Rod and R.J.
