Baize Leads Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings
(Salem, IN - July 23, 2015) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Senneker Performance Rookie racer Hunter Baize is currently leading the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings after six ARCA/CRA Super Series events so far this season. Baize, winner of the series May 25 event at Illiana Motor Speedway, has gained a total of 32 positions including 11 at last Saturday nights Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway. There are eight events left in the series 2015 points schedule including this Friday’s Circle City 100 Presented by Greg Hubler Chevrolet at the famed Lucas Oil Raceway.
Vteran series racer Eddie Van Meter and Paul Shafer Jr. are currently tied for second in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings with 27 gained positions apiece so far this season. 2014 Cometic Gasket Season Hardcharger Award winner and 2014 Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year Wes Griffith Jr. is currently in fourth place with 17 gained positions. Two time 2015 series winner Brian Campbell is in fifth place with 14 gained positions.
Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a $600 bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2015 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series points to be eligible for this award.
