Jordan O’Brien Looking for Second Win in MSD Legends Series Race
(Thompson, CT – May 5, 2017) This Sunday, May 7, will be the second event for the Midstate Site Development Legends Series. The Series, which features the unique US Legends Cars will be competing in a 12-lap event, following practice and qualifying rounds, which begin at 3pm. The race offers a strong payout supported by by a unique prize program. Jordan O'Brien, who won the season-opener at the Third Annual Icebreaker, Road Race Style, drove through heavy rains to victory lane.
When Asked about his victory, O’Brien explained, “ No words could describe it! It solidifies all the hard work put into the preparation for the race, and looking at the trophy is a reminder of that weekend and self worth of accomplishment.”
O'Brien, who beat Teddy Hodgdon at the season-opener, is expected to have to outduel two additional heavy hitters in the field. Defending MSD Legends Series Champion, Noah Korner, who was competing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and his brother and defending Rookie of the Year, Glenn Korner, are expected to enter Sunday's main event. So how does O'Brien feel about this competition?
“Noah Korner... is great driver and he won it all last year. Hopefully, it changes for this year forward. Teddy Hodgdon, who is also a very impressive driver, who can easily come back and win. I don't need any changes to my car and I just want to focus on making me a better driver and hopefully stay in from of the No. 31 car," O'Brien stated
