EPX

If you like Sunoco E85-R but are looking for something a little more potent, new Sunoco EPX is that fuel.  Sunoco EPX is an extremely highly oxygenated unleaded racing fuel.  At 34% oxygen, EPX contains more oxygen then E85-R.  Of course, you will need to make sure the fuel system can meet the increased fuel flow demands to take full advantage of this exciting new fuel.

Applications include:

Drag racers using highly boosted “import” motors like Honda’s K-Series and Toyota’s revered 2JZ variants

Drag racers running big turbos and blowers on domestic motors including Ford’s Coyote and Modular motors, GM’s LS series, and Chrysler Gen 3 Hemis

Whether you are running high boost or a high compression natually aspiration engine, EPX will provide the detonation resistance that you need. Similar to Sunoco E85-R and Methanol; EPX contains so much oxygen that it can't be rated with a typical octane test to determine the rating. However, in real world applications EPX provides protection to engines running up to 30 PSI of boost. Sunoco EPX was engineeried with extreme performance in mind and can be the solution to get your engine to the next level of performance.
